Hmong Clothes

There are many types of Hmong. There is the White Hmong, Green Hmong, and Stripe. (There are other types of Hmong also, but I don't recall them at the moment.) The difference between them is the way they dress. This is how the Hmong Green ladies would dress:

As you can see, you can tell the difference from what each culture wears.

Hmong Religion

The Hmong's religion is called Shamanism. Shamanism is a range of beliefs and practices concerned with communication with the spirit world. That is what most Hmong's religion is based upon. But for some they are Christian.

Hmong Culture

In the Hmong Culture, it is very much different than any culture that you would know. To begin with a lot of Hmong girls get married at a young age, for instance, 14. Most of the time it's not the parents fault for making them marry at such a young age, but sometimes it's because the girl wants to run off because she doesn't want to obey the parents. Hmong parents are very strict when it comes to the daughter because the daughter is the reputation of the family. For instance, if the son was to go out late at night versus the daughter. Hmong elders would talk more about the daughter than the son. That's just how it has always been.
